About Us

What began as a group of 12 friends in the fall of 2004 has evolved and become a force to be reckoned with. The Holy Cows have shed their modest beginnings and now boast over sixty members and seven mentors.

Run like a business, The Holy Cows have department heads for both Engineering and Public Relations, with managers in each department. During the off-season, the team spends hours spreading awareness of the FIRST Program by performing thousands of hours of community service and presenting at schools, companies, and conventions. The off-season also means writing grants, recruiting new members, and maintaining past seasons’ robots. When January rolls around, the team spends six weeks developing and machining a robot. Now in their eighth season, the team is more experienced and dedicated then ever before.
