On Saturday, we learned what the game was for this year of FIRST. Once we were done cleaning up after the kickoff, we started coming up with different possible designs for the robot. A few people, including myself, thought that focusing on lifting other robots off the ground at the end of the match would be easy. One idea that came out of this was basically an elevator. We thought about different ideas over the weekend and today most of us have come to the conclusion that focusing on scoring with the inner tubes would be the most effective design. We are starting to do rough drawings of our designs so that we may start prototyping.
