Today I got to watch the video for the game since I was not at the kickoff to see it.  After we watched the movie we went over to the other school where they had a model of the spider thing.  To get the rings on to the poles I thought that we should have a hook to just hang the rings on and a cover over the hook to keep the ring from being bumped off.  The robot would move forward with the ring and when the bottom of the ring hit the end cap of the pole it would bend over the top.  Then the hook would open, letting the ring slide down.
