Henry Gruenbaum
Senior - Director of Engineering
Henry Gruenbaum joined The Holy Cows as a Sophomore with an interest in engineering. During his rookie year Henry spent a lot of his helping with the wheels for our robot, Daisy Bell. Henry is now the Director of Engineering and leads the team in the build aspect of the robotics program. In the future, Henry would like to major in Mechanical Engineering.
Cameron Dechant
Senior - Manager of Mechanical
Cameron Dechant joined The Holy Cows as a Freshman at High Tech High, starting his robotics career as the team Photographer/Cinematographer. Now as Manager of Mechanical Design and Systems, which bridges his interests in public relations, and mechanical engineering. Cameron also has an interest in renewable energy, and green technology, which he wishes to pursue as a career.
Connor Worley
Sophomore - Manager of Software and Electrical
Connor joined the team his Freshman year after seeing a demonstration of the Daisy May robot in 7th grade. After joining he began working on software, and programming VEX robots. He helped program Daisy Maize during build season and became manager of Software and Electrical for the 2011-2012 season. In the future, he plans to teach other members how to program and wire a robot and hopes to pursue a career in software engineering
Ambar Avila
Junior - Manager of Scouting and Strategy
Ambar Avila joined The Holy Cows during her Freshman year determined to learn about the different aspects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. After a few minutes of joining the team, she was astounded by all of the information she had learned and knew that FIRST was an organization she wanted to be a part of. Now that she has taken on the leadership position as the Manager of Scouting and Strategy, it is her duty to collect and organize match data during competition. In the future, she plans on pursuing a career in anesthesiology.

Public Relations

Kirstin Olson
Senior - Director of Public Relations
Kristin Olson joined The Holy Cows her Sophomore year with an interest in engineering, but soon wandered over to the public relations department. She took on the role of Manager of Chairman’s and Award Submissions during her second year on the team, and has worked her way to become the Director of Public Relations as a Senior. In the future, she plans on pursuing a career specializing in neuropathology.
Jo Rubio
Sophomore - Manager of Outreach
Jo Rubio eagerly joined The Holy Cows her Freshman year, with an interest in engineering, and a talent for writing. Soon she had developed a passion for advocating FIRST and was promoted to the Manager of Outreach and Development entering her second year on the team. As a manager she ensures the team spreads the importance of STEM to the community efficiently, and provides assistance to keep the team continually improving. She has high hopes for the future, looking forward to learning more about astrophysics, bio-engineering, and everything in between.
Mo Stinson
Senior - Manager of Chairman's
Morgan “Mo” Stinson joined The Holy Cows her Junior year. With an interest in writing, she put her abilities to good use in the public relations department. This year, she is the Manager of Chairman’s and Award Submissions. She will work most ardently to keep The Holy Cows a team to be emulated, representing Gracious Proffesionalism and implementing continual improvment. In college, she plans on majoring in electrical engineering with the hopes of innovating control systems for teleoperated unmanned ground vehicles.
Austin Donnell
Seinor - Manager of Digital Media
Austin Donnell jumped into the fray at the beginning of his Junior year. He had always been fascinated by engineering and multimedia and after peer encouragement he joined the prestigious Team 1538- The Holy Cows. After his first year on the team Austin found a niche in digital design and art while on the team. After a prosperous Junior year Austin stepped into the role of management. Today he maintains The Holy Cow website, spreads the message of FIRST robotics, and adds his talents to the effervescent Team 1538.
Carmel Fiscko
Junior - Manager of E-Store
Carmel Fiscko joined the Holy Cows as a Sophomore while looking for something to do after school. She quickly grew very interested about the FIRST program and began helping in any way she could, in both public relations and engineering. With the new spot of Manager of E-Store, she decided to apply, feeling that she could greatly contribute in that area. In college, she plans to study either environmental engineering or optics.
