The Slash

THE SLASH

The Slash is a graphic element and not a glyph included in any typeface. It is one of the defining visual elements of the team's identity. The Slash is typically used in the team number, the team nickname, and the school name when used in robot branding. The Slash should only be used with the Alien Encounters typeface.

Spacing between words separated by a Slash must remain consistent: appropriate spacing between the two words is essential for readability. The space between the words should be equivalent to the width of two Slashes, and the height of the Slash should be 39% larger than the text it is separating (e.g., if text is 5/8", the Slash should be 1" tall). These proportions ensure visual clarity, strength, and consistency in the brand identity.
